Sports Funding

The PE and sport premium is ring-fenced to spend on improving the quality of PE and sport provision for all pupils. Hoole CE Primary School is commited to ensuring that the use of the premium will create additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport to the benefit of all pupils, encouraging the development of healthy, active lifestyles.

The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress. We were awarded a Gold Award for 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 and achieved Platinum for 2023/2024 and 2024/2025!
